Often, we are asked what are some procedures that we perform at Coastal Pain for pain management.

While there is not a “one-size fits all” approach, below are some examples of what we do here to relieve pain with our patients. One of the most common procedures we perform is an epidural steroid injection for diagnostic purposes. It is usually done in a series of 2 injections. If the patient experiences good relief from these diagnostic treatments, then usually a radiofrequency ablation is in order which is more long lasting for treatment. Spinal pain and neck pain are some of the most common reasons for this procedure.

Another common treatment is a peroneal nerve stimulation procedure often used for chronic foot pain after more conservative measures have failed. https://youtu.be/Z3rvXzdNXwI
